Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm 'Unapologetic'

Se mi seguite da qualche tempo saprete che i fucsia freddi sono un po' il mio Golia, per quanto ultimamente mi sia resa conto che il mio limite è costituito in realtà dai soli colori neon (da quando ho scoperto che Show Orchid mi sta bene lo ripeto continuamente pure alla crema per i talloni).

Per questo motivo il mio fucsia del cuore è sempre stato Impassioned di MAC, ma non mi sono mai decisa ad acquistarlo perché io e gli Amplified siamo due mondi che non vanno troppo d'accordo.

Quando in profumeria ho swatchato i nuovi Colorburst Matte Balm di Revlon ho avuto la sensazione che Unapologetic potesse andargli molto vicino e, a giudicare dagli swatch di Chia (come fai a farne di così belli?), non mi sbagliavo. In realtà, pur non avendo fatto personalmente un confronto diretto, devo dire che per me una differenza c'è, ma ne parliamo più giù.

If you have been following me for a while you'll surely know that cool toned fuchsias are my sort of Goliath, even though I've recently realized that my problems start with neon colours (since I've found out that Show Orchid suits me well I keep saying this even to my heel moisturizer).

For this main reason my all time favourite fuchsia has always been MAC Impassioned, but I've never bought it because Amplified and me don't get on so well.

So, when I swatched the new Revlon Coloburst Matte Balms I immediately thought that Unapologetic could be somewhere close to Impassioned and, according to Chia's swatches, I wasn't wrong. Actually, even if can't do a direct comparison of the two, to me there's still a little difference, but we're going to talk about this later on.

È passato più di un anno dall'ultima wishlist, e, siccome sto gradualmente esaurendo prodotti da sognare la notte, un aggiornamento mi è sembrato d'obbligo.

È una scusa perché non ho foto pronte per un post più utile? Ovviamente.

Come saprete, comunque, da queste parti le wishlist sono più che altro un modo per scambiarsi un po' di opinioni e per aiutarmi a spendere in maniera più oculata i soldi che non ho, quindi fatemi sapere se avete provato qualcosa, come vi siete trovate/i e se conoscete qualche prodotto o uno specialista che possa fare al caso mio.

August Favourites and Most Played

Agosto è finito e quest'anno stranamente mi dispiace. Dev'essere il pensiero di ciò che mi aspetta per i prossimi mesi, ma vabbè, mi consolerò tra felpe enormi e combat boots.

August is over and this year I feel strangely melancholic. Or maybe I'm just scared of what's coming next, who knows. Need to be positive, there's always tea.
